Golf Courses in Kaziranga

The region of Kaziranga in Assam has two golf courses that offer a unique golfing experience in the midst of nature. The Jorhat Golf Course and the Kaziranga Golf Resort are both located near the national park and provide scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Jorhat Golf Course

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival at Guwahati airport and transfer to Borgos resort in Kaziranga

You will be greeted by a representative of Indian Golf Safari at the Guwahati airport and driven to Borgos resort in Kaziranga, which is about 217 km away and takes about 4 hours by road.
Check in to your luxurious room at the resort and enjoy the scenic views of the Kaziranga National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the endangered one-horned rhinoceros.
In the evening, you can relax at the spa or the swimming pool, or indulge in some indoor or outdoor activities at the resort. You can also watch a cultural dance performance by the local tribes and savor a delicious dinner at the in-house restaurant.

Day 2 :
Elephant safari at Kaziranga National Park and golf at Kaziranga Golf Resort

Wake up early and get ready for an exciting elephant safari into the heart of the Kaziranga National Park. You will get a chance to see the one-horned rhino and other animals and birds of the sanctuary up close and personal.
After the safari, return to the resort for a complimentary breakfast and check out of the hotel.
Drive to Kaziranga Golf Resort, which is about 75 km away and takes about 2 hours by road. Check in to your cozy cottage at the resort, which is surrounded by lush green tea plantations.
Enjoy a round of golf at the Kaziranga Golf Resort, which is a challenging 18-hole par 71 course designed by Ranjit Nanda, a renowned golf course architect. The course offers panoramic views of the Karbi Anglong hills and the Brahmaputra river.

Day 3 :
Golf at Jorhat Golf Course and leisure at Kaziranga Golf Resort

After a complimentary breakfast, take a short drive to Jorhat Golf Course, which is about 23 km away and takes about 40 minutes by road.
Enjoy 18 holes at this historical golf course, which was established in 1876 by the British tea planters and is one of the oldest golf courses in India. The course is set amidst verdant gardens and has a colonial charm.
After a round of golf, have lunch at the golf club and drive back to Kaziranga Golf Resort.
Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You can explore the nearby attractions, such as the Kakochang waterfall, the Deoparbat ruins, or the Kaziranga Orchid Park. Or you can simply relax at your cottage or enjoy some more golf.

Day 4 :
Departure from Guwahati airport

After a complimentary breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Guwahati airport, which is about 240 km away and takes about 4 hours by road.
Bid farewell to Assam and board your flight back home with wonderful memories of your golf trip.
